NAfIM ONLINE JOURNAL

In November of 2008, NAfIM innaugurated its online e-journal under the editorship of Dennis McNulty D.Min of Catholic Charities Disability Services of the Diocese of Cleveland. This is an ID/password controlled publication. Members have been assigned identification and passcodes. Members are notified via the NAfIM ListServ that an new edition of the NAfIM ONLINE JOURNAL is on the worldwide web.  Temporary user ID and password can be requested. Click contact NAfIM, at left, to request. The annual membership fee for an individual is $35.00. 

The Fall 2009 edition is now online with the following articles:  Virginia Duncan and Dennis B. NAfIM MESSENGER

The NAfIM MESSENGER is the newsletter of the National Apostolate or Inclusion Ministry. It is mailed four times a year to members. The annual membership fee is $35.00. Click Here for Membership Form

QUARTERLY PUBLICATION

The National Apostolate for Inclusion Ministry Quarterly Publication was the journal of the National Apostolate for Inclusion Ministry. The first issued in September, 1968, the last edition was published in Fall, 2001. Articles from the QUARTERLY PUBLICATION are available postage prepaid at $5.00 per article. For each  article  request author, title and year if known on a separate piece of paper and send with check or money order at $5.00 each payable to “NAfIM” and send to NAfIM, P.O. GOD LOVES YOUR CHILD WITH DISABILITIES

The brochure God Loves Your Child with Disabilities was first published in English in December 2007. It was written to comfort and encourage parents or parents-to-be of a child diagnosed with disabilities. The brochure has a prayer for parents composed by NAfIM board member Judith Sunder. A Spanish edition of the brochure Dios Ama a su Hijo con Discapacidad Intelectual y/o de Desarrollo was first published in November 2009. One copy will be sent free to each address which provides a self-addressed, stamped number 10 envelope to the address given below. Otherwise, copies are available as follows: 1-24 copies, $1.25 each; 25-99 copies $1.00 each; 100 or more copies, $0.50 each. Click Here for Order Form

THE BAND-AID

A full color 8 1/2" x 10" glossy photographic print of THE BAND-AID by Sr. Mary Grace, OP is available from the National Apostolate for Inclusion Ministry. The painting is inspired by a chapter of the book His Name is Joel: Seaching for God in a Son's Disability by Kathleen Deyer Bolduc (Bridge Resources, Louisville, KY, 1999). The scene is a special education class. One of the children notices Jesus has a scratch on his hand and asks for a band-aid. NAfIM INFO SHEETS

The National Apostolate for Inclusion Ministry Info Sheets include free downloadable materials on a number of issues relating to religious education, grief and people with intellectual/developmental disabilities, pastoral care, prenatal diagnosis, new parent issues, autism and holidays, etc. Dioceses, parishes and other organizations seeking to provide such materials to their constituencies are invited to link their websites to the info sheets of interest whether or not they are supporters of the National Apostolate for Inclusion Ministry.
